Learn to Enter Fastboot Mode on Huawei P9
If you’ve ever owned an HTC device or anything in the Nexus line, chances are you have typed the word “fastboot” into your command line at one point. Am I right? Fastboot is a protocol that can be used to re-flash partitions on your device; a small tool that comes with the Android SDK which is an alternative to the Recovery Mode for installations and updates.
Not all phones have a fastboot mode that the user can access, but your Huawei P9 does have it, so what are you waiting for?
I can only assume that you are an independent Android enthusiast, so it’s time to please your heart. The Fastboot mode is also known by other names such as Download Mode or Bootloader Mode and it is extremely useful in many situations.
The most common use of the fastboot mode is flashing stock firmware (Stock ROMs), along with flashing custom recoveries, unlocking the bootloader of your Huawei P9 device, installing OTA updates, removing bloatware, restoring backups, or tweaking the system in various ways. Is one of these options in your mind? I thought so too!
Learn to Enter Fastboot Mode on Huawei P9:

- After that, you have to press and hold the Power and the Volume Down buttons at the same time;
- Keep pressing these buttons until the Huawei logo is displayed; then you can release them;
- That should be all; the fastboot mode should be displayed now.
