Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom: A Mix Between Galaxy S4 Mini and Galaxy Camera
Photos of the new smartphone from Samsung have been finally leaked. The Galaxy S 4 Zoom is made out of plastic and it will most likely be presented at the Samsung Event on 20 June. The cameraphone looks to be based on the Galaxy S4 Mini specs and also design and it looks like a camera with a smartphone attached, rather that otherwise. On the right side of the device you’ll find the lock /unlock button, volume rocker and shutter button. Among other specs of the Galaxy S4 Zoom, we should first mention the impressive 16.3 megapixel camera with 10x optical zoom and the 4.3-inch qHD display, which makes us think of the device as a blend between the Galaxy S4 Mini and the Galaxy Camera.
The Galaxy S4 Zoom is rumored to come with a 1.6GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and an 8GB internal memory, with a memory card slot up to 64 GB. It is rumored to run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Samsung’s own TouchWiz interface and be compatible to have Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE and GPS connectivity. It will also come with a a 1,900 mAh battery. Below, you can see a live photo of what appears to be the Galaxy S4 Zoom, photo which has been uploaded by TechTastic.
The Galaxy S 4 Zoom seems to be pretty thick from the images, which is understandable considering the ample camera attached to it. The device will also come with a 1.9-megapixel front facing camera, which can be used for video calls. We’ll be waiting to see more of the new cameraphone, including specs, price or release date at the Samsung conference on June 20, in London. Samsung hasn’t yet confirmed the existence of this device.
