CES 2014: Hisense H8 And H9 UHD Smart TVs To Come Powered by Android
Hisense is currently working on two new 4K big screens lines – Hisense H8 and H9 that are both powered by Android. Despite of the lack of any information on pricing just yet, Hisense has announced that both its H8 and H9 models will arrive in the second half of 2014, but we don’t think that it is too early to grab a look to what they can offer. Hisense has presented them at CES as packing a set of advanced specs that can deliver a stunning performance, not to mention the elegant design and the innovative UI, but we wanted to know much more than that.
When it comes to the H8c series, we have found out that it includes not only 50-inch, but also 55-inch and 60-inch models, while the H9 3D series will have much larger 75 and 85-inches versions. And it is obviously that UHD (3840 x 2160) native resolution is a major advantage along with the Ultra-LED technology that can offer incredible color detail.
Even more, both Hisense H8 and H9 UHD Smart TVs have the same customized VIDAA user interface that we are used too from the VIDAA TV series. We are referring to three full USB ports, as well as no less than four HDMIones, not to mention that they can be controlled via an included air mouse.
And as we have told you, both this smart TV series will feature Android (the 4.2 Jellybean version), along with various pre-loaded apps including Vudu HD Movies, Netflix, Pandora, Chrome and Youtube, not to mention that you have the possibility to add any other app that you might want to use thanks to its Google Play certification (as our source stated).
We know that these H8c and H9 3D series will be available nationwide, but we must admit that we are a little worried about the price of such premium-branded 4K models. For more information, don’t hesitate to check on us in the upcoming days. We’ll definitely be back with fresh info on this topic.
