LG G Flex to be Released in More than 20 European Countries
LG announced the upcoming release of its G Flex flagship in the US a few days ago, and now the smartphone manufacturer is preparing to roll out its handset in Europe as well. LG`s launch plans include more than 20 European countries starting February this year. The LG G Flex is said to be one of the company`s high-end smartphones targeting countries like Austria, France, Italy, Sweden, UK or Germany and other countries across Europe. There is not a price tag for the European market yet, but we do know that in the US market, the phone will be costing $300, being one of the most expensive devices on the market so far. So we might also expect a high price for Europe as well.
To record some data back, the LG G Flex has been only released in Asia – Korea, Singapore and Hong Kong – with plans for the US market being announced at the Consumer Electronics Show, under the American carriers AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile to roll the device somewhere in the first semester of 2014.
To state our source, in Europe, the LGG Flex has been anticipated for a long time now, and Dr. Jong-Seok Park, the president and the CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company mentions that the device manufacturer is pretty confident in the future success of the LG G Flex in Europe.
Stating these, the LG G Flex is said to be revolutionary in many ways. First it would be its massive 6-inches in diagonal, with Plastic OLED (P-OLED) display, making the device the world`s largest ever made. It also features the first curved battery with a premiere as well in the self-healing coating feature at the back cover, being immune to all scratches.
Other features that the LG G Flex is featuring, is its user-centric UX features like Dual Window, QTheatre and Swing Lockscreen, specially made for its curved display.
For the European market, the specs of the LG G Flex might include a powerful 2.26 GHZ Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, a 2 GB of RAM with internal storage of 32GB. The smartphone will be running on Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 and will be also sporting a rear 13 MP camera. We will be surely seeing full specs of the device in a short while.
