Galaxy Grand 2 to Come in a LTE Version
We have all seen Galaxy’s Grand 2 main specs and features last year, but now we are back with fresh news regarding the possibility of receiving an LTE-enabled version of this handset. There is no mystery that all Samsung LTE devices come with model numbers that end in 5 and this is no exception and the upcoming smartphone that we are talking about has the SM-G7105 model number, while the SM-G7105L one has all the chance to be a carrier version of the same device. Are you curious to find out more details? We have no launch information available for the moment, but we can already anticipate that Samsung will release it in LTE specific markets like the U.S. And here we have some of its technical specifications too:
Different processor
In the first place, the original Galaxy Grand 2 phone has a 1.2GHz quad-core processor that is paired with 1.5 GB of RAM and that’s exactly where we were expecting to receive a major improvement. So, the new LTE Version will come instead with a quad-core that features a LTE modem, but we have no additional information for the moment.
Display, camera, memory, operating system
When it comes to its display of 5.2 inch, Galaxy Grand 2 will come with the same resolution of 720×1280 pixels, not to mention the internal memory of 8 GB which can be extended to another 64 GB by using a microSD cards. As for the 8 MP rear camera, it is also supposed to be unchanged. So, we are talking about a camera which is capable of Full HD video recording at 1920×1080p at 30 frames per second, also equipped with advanced features such as Autofocus, Smile detector, Basic image editor, Geo-tagging, Touch Focus and Face Detection, while the he secondary 2 MP camera is ideal for self-portraits.
And don’t leave aside that this Galaxy Grand 2 LTE Version will feature Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with TouchWiz UI on top of it, as our source mentions.
