Galaxy Note 4 Reportedly with 3-Sided Display and Note 5 with Foldable Screen
“Bent” displays seems to be very fashinable these days, as the Korean smartphone manufacturer is trying to make some experiments on the Note 4. More than that, the thablet will likely sport this screen as it is ready to be launched on the market. We are talking about a YOUM three-sided display already unveiled by Samsung last year and with a couple of fresh rumors last month.
Samsung`s plans for this year is to manufacture around one million devices concerning the three-sided Note 4, targeted towards a certain niche, as the company is being more carefully, since the Galaxy Round, with its curved display, wasn’t so well received by its customers.
Experiments and manufacturing will put Samsung on a rough $1.9 billion investment in flexible OLEDs, which is another important money roll-out that the Koreans are putting this year. We are also talking about foldable screen set to make the Note 5 one of the most high-tech devices in the world.
The news come after Samsung revealed last year its intentions of launching high-end devices like the upcoming Note 5 sporting a foldable smartphone, planned for 2015.
As our source also states, the plans concerning the 2015 year are set to develop a more powerful battery that would hold the display technology. This is the reason why, starting with this year, Samsung is also investing a lot of money in some revolutionary battery technology.
We will keep you rolling with further updates. Cheers!
