Glamor Red HTC One Coming to UK
It has been officially announced that the HTC One will be released in a third color scheme in mid-July, and that color is Glamor Red. The new version of the HTC One will be launched in UK and will be available exclusively at the retailer Phones 4u. The red version will complete the list of color schemes, which included the silver and black versions until now, for the fancy device. Besides the new color, the phone remains the same beloved one, with its original specs and features. If you’ve forgotten them, we’ll remind you shortly why the smartphone is HTC’s top device.
Well, first of all, a thing that must be mentioned is the UltraPixel camera for high quality images in low light, being the device to introduce this feature. Furthermore, the handset won the first prize in design and innovation from Computex Taipei and the best new mobile device at Mobile World Congress 2013, as our source points out. Specs wise, the HTC One carries a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600, quad-core, 1.7 GHz processor and a 2300 mAh battery. It’s available in 32/64GB versions, with a MicroSD card slot and 2GB of RAM. Also, the two frontal stereo speakers with built-in amplifiers will give you a high quality sound.
Although HTC One’s competitor, the Samsung Galaxy S4, is also available in red color scheme, we must be honest and admit that it looks so much better in HTC’s aluminum body. The retailer, Phones 4u, offers a 33£ price tag per week for a two year contract. Otherwise, the device is available for approximately 500£. The smartphone features Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and a new Sense UI. It hasn’t been announced yet if the device will be available at other retailers or in a SIM-free version, but we’re hoping it will because, besides the great specs and design, the vibrant red color was just the touch a hot smartphone needed.
