Verizon’s All New HTC One Spotted on eBay
A listing for a 32GB HTC One (2014 model) has been just spotted on eBay, although we are several weeks ahead the official announcement of the device. We have here the retail packaging, as well as pricing details and the name of the device as well. So, despite of the fact that this handset was advertised as the All New HTC One, the company may end up selling as the HTC One 2014, or at least that’s what the packaging that we have here is trying to suggest.
Real Deal or Not?
If we take a closer look at these photos, we can say that this All New HTC One/HTC One 2014 looks indeed very close to what we’d expect, but there is absolutely no guarantee that the front was not photoshopped. To be honest, it certainly reminds us of the original HTC One retail packaging as well, so it is impossible to confirm that it is the real thing.
Moreover, from what we see on the box, this year’s HTC One will come equipped with a 5-inch 1080p Full HD display, as well as a powerful 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Do you want even more for your files? The microSD support up to 128GB is exactly what you need, not to mention the 5-megapixel front-facing camera and the OS.
Everyone is thinking of the latest Android KitKat version coming along with Sense UI (presumably version 6.0) on top of it, but we still an official confirmation in order to know that for sure.
eBay Price
As for the full retail version of this Verizon HTC One (2014), we can only tell you that eBay has listed the handset at $499.99. But once again we must tell you that you should be careful. As it generally happens with such things, there’s a chance to be talking about a well manufactured fake HTC One (2014), so we’ll be back with more details in the near future.
