Upcoming Karbonn Titanium Hexa, Octane Plus and Octane Android Smartphones
Karbonn thinks that is ready to face the smartphone competition from the current market, so the company has just announced a new range of interesting Android devices: Titanium Hexa, Titanium Octane and Titanium Octane Plus. All these three models will become available at the end of April, but it isn’t too soon to reveal you their prices. The Titanium Octane version will be available for Rs 14,490, while the Titanium Hexa will cost Rs 16,990 and finally, the Titanium Octane Plus will be the most expensive one at Rs 17,990.
Karbonn Titanium Hexa
We want to tell you from the start that this Karbonn Titanium Hexa smartphone is the first smartphone to come MediaTek’s latest MT6591 hexa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz and packing 2 GB of RAM. Regarding this partnership with MediaTek, Pardeep Jain, Managing Director of Karbonn has just declared: “This collaboration with MediaTek which enables advanced multi-tasking and better performance is our endeavour to introduce devices which can answer every emerging need in the industry.” And the best part is that the chipset allows all its six cores to run simultaneously, so we cannot wait to see if the device will run indeed as smooth as it is believed.
Moreover, this Titanium Hexa also has a 5.5-inch display with a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, while its 13 megapixel rear camera with various image editing tools looks promising as well. Don’t worry about those 16 GB of memory; you can easily expand this number via microSD card. And you should also have in consideration that we are talking about a dual-SIM smartphone that has Android 4.4 KitKat on board, so its price is well motivated.
Karbonn Titanium Octane Plus
The most expensive model from this line is Octane Plus, so be sure that it has all chances to surprise us. The company promises us a 5-inch Full HD display and a MediaTek MT6592 octa-core processor running at 1.7 GHz and coupled with 2GB of RAM. Its 16GB of internal storage are expandable up to 32GB via microSD cards, while the 16 megapixel rear camera that comes along with a secondary 8 megapixel front facing one is said to perform great even in low light situations.
The battery under the hood has a 2,000mAh capacity and don’t forget that this Karbonn Titanium Octane Plus also features the latest Android 4.4 KitKat operating system with all its enhancements that you are probably dreaming of right now.
Karbonn Titanium Octane
Karbonn Titanium Octane is a more affordable version of the Octane Plus model that we have just seen. This handset comes with a 5-inch 720p display instead of a 1080p one, but at least it gets the power from the same MT6592 octa-core processor.
The RAM has also been changed to only 1GB from 2GB, not to mention that Karbonn Titanium Octane packs just a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front facing shooter. But, at least it also runs the latest iteration of Android 4.4 KitKat OS, so we see it as an inspired choice as well. Don’t you think so too?
