Samsung is back to AMOLED Tablets; Benchmark Official Results
We have previously talked about a possible Samsung new AMOLED tablet, but only now that its existence is confirmed by benchmark official results we know for sure that it isn’t a simple rumor. You should know from the start that we are not talking about a single model, but there are actually three different versions: a Wi-Fi model (SM-T800) that comes along with a 3G (SM-T801) and a LTE (SM-T805) AMOLED one as well.
More specs and Features
Moreover, we can tell you that the 10.5-inch AMOLED tablet will feature a screen resolution of no less than 2560 x 1600 pixels, which is the same resolution that we have also seen on the Galaxy Pro series of tablets. If we take in consideration the benchmark result, the SM-T805 LTE model is expected to come with a Samsung Exynos 5420 SoC with four Cortex A15 cores and four Cortex A7 cores, along with a hexa-core Mali-T628 GPU as well.
And besides all these, we can also tell you about 3 GB of RAM, as well as both a 7 MP camera and a 2 MP secondary one. And don’t forget that they all these AMOLED tablets will run Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system.
Another SM-T700 tablet
Anyway, this AMOLED tablet isn’t the only one having these specs, but a similar listing has been also discovered for an 8.4-inch screen version which has the model number SM-T700. And we also know that it will become available in the same Wi-Fi, 3G and LTE variants too.
We don’t have any guarantee that these devices are real indeed, but it is intriguing to think about the fact that Samsung might be back to AMOLED tablets, so we’ll keep you updated. Just tsay tuned for more!
