Samsung Handsets included in the Update List
The smartphones that we are talking about are Samsung’s Galaxy S4 Mini, Galaxy Note 3 Neo, Galaxy Grand 2 Duos, Galaxy Mega 5.8 Duos, as well as Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3. From what we have just discovered, we can tell you that these updates have been finalized, so we only have to wait for the rollouts to start as soon as possible.
Is the leaked document from Samsung India real?
All things look good up to know, but can we be sure that this document from Samsung India is indeed real?
There is a possibility to discover that this is nothing else than a simple photoshopped image, not to mention that we have some questions about the release time frames that might be only available for those Samsung handsets from India.
For example, the model numbers listed for Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 and the Galaxy Mega 5.8 indicate that the KitKat update will come only to the dual-SIM versions of these devices (SM-G7102 and GT-I9152, respectively), so we still have no details about the single-sim versions of these phones.
As for the international Samsung Galaxy S III (GT-I9300), it has been already announced that it won’t receive any update to KitKat.
