LG Optimus L9 From T-Mobile Gets The Second P76920f Jelly Bean Update
T-Mobile decided to update Android Jelly Bean for the LG Optimus L9 for the second time, now with security enhancements. The first update was to Android 4.1.2, a few months ago. A month later, T-Mobile did its own official software release. This time, the update was made to bring the software up to version “P76920f”. The update is for devices running the previous version of Android 4.1.2, as well as Android 4.0.4, and it is available as an OTA (over-the-air) software download. To get the update, you must go to the Optimus L9′s Settings menu and check for System Updates.
Our source states that the update won’t bring any changes. Well we believe that doesn’t matter, because it won’t harm your smartphone either and it doesn’t cost you anything. Actually, the security enhancements are a plus so there’s no reason for you not to update to the latest Jelly Bean version. The LG Optimus L9 comes with a 1GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM. You’ll get 4GB of internal memory, with MicroSD cared extension up to 32 GB. The screen is a 4.5-inch IPS LCD display with resolution of 960 x 540. The LG Optimus L9 also features a 5MP rear camera and a VGA front-facing one.
LG Optimus L9 comes with a 2150mAh battery and supports WiFi and Bluetooth. No word on the LTE though, but the price tag varies from 190$ on Amazon to 240$ on T-Mobil. We believe that the mid-range smartphone is a good one for those of you who are on a budget. And it offers a nice quality-price balance. If you already own one, all you have to do is check if the update is available for you, or wait for it because it’s on its way to you.
Well they need to come out with the update where I can save apps to the sd card. Because it makes no sense that I have a huge sd card and i can’t save anything to it and the phone is only 4 gigs.
