Samsung Galaxy A5 Released in Russia
The Russian customers who are already prepared for the Christmas holydays can now choose their gift it term of a new Samsung branded Android powered smartphone. So, if you are a Samsung fan, then you might want to know that the company just released its Galaxy A5 in Russia. The phone can be already purchased from stores and through various carriers. The Galaxy A3 will shortly follow, as this phone is also expected in Russia during the following weeks.
As for the Galaxy A5, as you might already know, the smartphone aims the budget friendly market, even though it is not that affordable. But, it comes with decent to high end performances along with an extremely compact design, which makes it a good alternative for other highly expensive Android powered smartphones. In Russia, Samsung Galaxy A5 is priced at RUB 23,990, which translates to $441. If that’s too much for you, then you should wait for the Galaxy A3 release, as (according to our sources) the second device will be priced at only RUB 16,990/$313.
Now, specs wise, Samsung Galaxy A5 is coming with a 5 inch display capable of 720p resolution, a 1.2 GH quad core processor brought by Snapdragon 410 CPU, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage, micro SD card slot, a 13 MP camera on the back and a 5 MP front facing shooter. The phone features Android KitKat right of the box with a promise of a soon to come Android 5.0 Lollipop OTA update.
As you can see, there is nothing spectacular about the Galaxy A5, though we are still talking about a decent, to high end Android powered smartphone. Anyway, the best is that Samsung made it available in Russia, so if you are interested in buying this new Samsung model, you can easily do the same.
