Android Jelly Bean 4.3 featured on the Galaxy S3?
As you probably know, Google has an upcoming event on July 24th, during which it will probably unveil many new devices and updates. As the next update to Google’s OS will be Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, it’s possible that this version is already on the Galaxy S3 for the last tests. The Galaxy S4 Google Play edition has already been rumored to feature a few different versions of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean firmware. Good for us, some images of what appears to be Android 4.3 on the Galaxy S3 have leaked and the news seem to be fake. However, the Galaxy S3 running Android 4.3 isn’t impossible, as it will probably carry Android 4.2 and an update will be possible.
The Galaxy S3 is an impressive device which you’ll be amazed of. It comes with a Smart stay App – meaning it waits till you’re asleep: the screen maintains a bright display as long as you’re looking at it. Another great feature is the Direct call – the phone knows when you want to talk: if you’re sending a message but decide to call instead, simply lift the phone to your ear and it will dial your friend’s number automatically. Last, but not least, we must mention the S Voice – it responds to you: you can tell the phone to wake up, answer an incoming call, or even take a photo.
The Galaxy S3 has been released July 2012 and has a super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen of 720 x 1280 pixels. Also, its specs are including 16/32 GB storage memory, 2 GB RAM and a MicroSD card which supports up to 64MB. The device has two cameras, the rear one of 8MP, with autofocus and LED flash, and the front one having 1.9MP. Not bad, and it could get better with the help of updated operating systems. We’re waiting to see what happens at Google’s event and we’ll get back to you.
