Canada LG G2 Release Date Announced
As you probably know, the LG G2 was announced in August, with a release date rumored this fall. The company finally decided on the exact date, and has officially announced it to be September 27. Just as a reminder, the device will come with a “knock knock” feature that will allow you to unlock the display with a double-tap on it. The G2 has already arrived to US carriers and, a few days from now, it will be available on several Canadian carriers like Rogers, Bell Mobility, TELUS, Videotron, SaskTel, WIND Mobile and lot more.
As our source states, LG hasn’t set a price tag for the Canadian G2 yet, or at least they haven’t made it official. It seems like the carrier and the retail partners will set the prices together. We might be able to take a pick just before the release of the flagship smartphone. The LG G2 is available in Europe for quite some time (right after it has been released). I don’t know if the prices will match in Canada, but here you have the on-contract offers.
As you can see from the picture above, the device comes in grey, blue, red and fuchsia, in order to please everyone’s tastes. Specs wise, you’ll get a 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor and the world’s thinnest 5.2-inch 1080p HD display. The device runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The G2 also comes with 2GB of RAM, 16 and 32GB storage options, a 13 megapixel IOS camera and a 3,000 mAh battery. Awesome specs, if you ask me. LG has really outdone itself this time.
