New Asus PadFone Infinity Revealed: Specs, Features and Pricing details
The refreshed Asus PadFone Infinity has finally been announced, and it’s coming with some impressive specs. And considering the fact that phablets are so wanted lately, it will probably be a success for the company. The Garmin navigation software has been cut out, however, but there’s no need to worry, as you’ll see a great deal of features that you’re going to love. The device will be available in Titanium Black and Platinum White. We don’t know when it will be released, but we can tell you that prices have been set at $640, for the 16 GB version and around $710, for the 32 GB model.
The Infinity Station dock costs $240, but some of you probably have it already, as the accessory was compatible with the previous PadFone Infinity as well. The device features Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and comes with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 running at 2.2 GHz. As our source stated, it will be available in two variants: a 16GB model and a 32GB model, as we were telling you earlier. And you’ll also have a MicroSD card slot this time, to make up for the lack of a 64GB version. The new PadFone Infinity will come with two cameras: a 13MP one and a 2MP rear camera.
The new PadFone Infinity will also come with a new feature called PixelMaster, that is able to increase the image quality by squeezing in pixels from 13 megapixel shot to a smaller, but higher quality 3 megapixel image. You’ll also be able to take up to 25 shots per second, with the camera set for 3MP and 8 shots per second, in normal mode. Not bad at all! i’m still curious on some aspects, though, like battery life. But I’m sure I’ll find that out soon and you can bet I’ll tell you all about it.
