ASUS PadFone X Will Be Landing Exclusively At AT&T
We bet that you are no stranger to Asus’ PadFones and we actually have great news for all those eager to enjoy a hybrid model that offers both a tablet and a smartphone experience. We are talking about a new ASUS PadFone X that will be landing exclusively at AT&T. We first got a glimpse of this PadFone X when it was spotted in AnTuTu’s Database back in December and we can assure you that this carrier-branded version that we have here is much better than the PadFone 2013 version. We are saying that thanks to the addition of the latest Android 4.4 KitKat and Voice over LTE which will support voice calls over the data network and that’s not all.
We know that ASUS PadFone X houses under the hood a 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor paired with 2 GB of RAM, as well as 16 GB of internal storage, but we must disappoint you with the lack of information regarding its Full HD display.
ASUS didn’t revealed this information, so we can only assume that it will has at least a 1920×1080 resolution if not even better, just as it was previously spotted in the AnTuTu benchmark. Even more, this new PadFone Infinity comes with a 10.1-inch dock instead of the 7-inch one, as well as a 9-inch HD screen rather than the 10.1 inches before. Why such a change? We can only imagine that this tablet portion is not only smaller, but also more comfortable which could make perfect sense for those who are interested in a tablet form factor for travelling.
But as our source confirm, ASUS didn’t really said anything about when this tablet will be landing. We only now that it will be arriving exclusively through AT&T channels, just as we have told you and let’s hope that for a good price!
