Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo Details Leaked

As recent rumors have confirmed, Samsung has been working on a secret smartphone that will be placed between the Galaxy Grand and the Galaxy Grand 2. However, its production rates, features, and options are still a mystery. Now, thanks to a leaked internal document, we are able to find out more of the alleged device, also called Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo.

The handset will come with 5-inch TFT display offering a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. Grand Neo will bring a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash and a front facing VGA camera. In the same time, the 8 GB of internal memory along with the microSD slot card offers plenty of storage to capture as many pictures as you want.

In what concerns the internal part, there is a 1.2 GHz quad-core A7 chipset powering the device along with 1 GB of RAM. In the connectivity aspect, Samsung Grand Neo will have Bluetooth 4.0, HSPA +(21 Mbps – download, 5.76 Mbps – upload), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, micro USB, GPS and GLONASS support. However, it is worth mentioning the fact that the device will not have LTE or Wi-Fi ac radios built-in.

As Samsung has accustomed its customers, Grand Neo will posses a special design, similar to its predecessor while measuring 143.7 x 77.1 x 9.6 mm. The device will bring Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, and it will feature TouchWiz customizations. In the last part, the 2,100-mAh battery will offer plenty of juice for its users.

Related to price, it appears that the smartphone will reach the price of €299 after tax in Europe. However, there is no other information regarding its availability. Nevertheless, I am sure that, as long as the device will be ready to be shipped, we will see it on our carriers’ shelves. What I want to mention is the fact that the document also suggests that the smartphone will be available in multiple color options. So, if you plan to buy this new Samsung smartphone, you will have several color options to choose from, besides the regular black and white alternatives.
