Fake Galaxy S4s Confiscated in Germany

China is well known for its fake smartphones all over the world, but things are supposed to be different in Europe, or at least this is what we believed up to now. So what do you say about the fact that German authorities have just found no less than 250 fake Samsung Galaxy S4s smartphones in a shipment from Hong Kong at the Stuttgart airport? It’s a big surprise for all of us and unfortunately such an unpleasant one! You can only imagine that all these fake smartphones have been confiscated and destroyed with hammers (this photo is taken right during the smashing), but this doesn’t have to mean that we forget all about this story and act like nothing happened.

Something did happen and this could affect us all! From what we know at this point, customs officers at the airport became suspicious after the owners of a mysterious shipment declared that it contained $2,000 worth of cable. After opening the packages, they have found these than 250 fake Samsung Galaxy S4s smartphones and it actually seems that they were not supposed to go on sale in Germany, but actually in Georgia.

So, if you are thinking about buying a new Samsung Galaxy S4s in the near future, we have only one thing to tell you. As you know, paranoia isn’t our thing, so we don’t suggest that you should forget about your plan; that’s not at all the case. All you have to do is being one hundred percent sure that the Galaxy S4s that you are choosing is a real deal before spending your money or you can simply buy it from a reliable shop or website and avoid any later unpleasant surprises.

The German authorities are currently working on finding out if this was a unique delivery, or if there is a real network out there waiting for people like us to buy their products. To be honest, there is no word regarding the look or specs of these fake Galaxy devices, so we have no idea if it is or not easy to distinguish them from the original version. So, open your eyes and be careful about what you are buying!
