MWC 2014: BlackBerry Reveals a New Duo of Smartphones: Q20 and Z3
BlackBerry has just revealed a new duo of smartphones at the MWC known as BlackBerry Z3 and BlackBery Q20. The company has already confirmed that its Z3 device is supposed to land in Indonesia in April, for a price of $200 contract-free, but it has also said there will be ‘further details on pricing and availability at launch’, so we can only imagine that this is a clue regarding the availability in other regions as well. Unfortunately, these sort of details are missing for their BlackBery Q20 device at this pont, but we invite you to read more about their specs and features:
BlackBerry Z3
This BlackBerry Z3 is a full-touch device which is ready to come with a 5″ display that boasts a qHD resolution, its power being offered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon 400 chipset paired with 1.5GB of RAM.
When it comes to its internal storage, we know that it is of 8GB and sadly, we have no information regarding the possibility of a microSD card slot available, but we really don’t imagine that BlackBerry could have done such a thing. We’ll probably hear about its existence later. As for its 5MP camera, it comes with a secondary 1.1MP one, but once again no further details have been provided.
BlackBery Q20
Things are much more interesting if we take a closer look to this BlackBerry Q20 model presented as the new ‘new flagship’ BlackBerry 10 smartphone thanks to its ‘sculpted’ keys and frets found on the keyboard, similar to those seen on BlackBerry’s Q10 design.
So yes, as you can see by yourself, BlackBery Q20 comes with the well-known company’s fixed Qwerty keyboard design, the manufacturer also promising premium materials especially made for ‘reliability and durability’, along with a 3.5-inches touch display.
As for the operating system, both these smartphones are expected to feature BlackBerry OS 10.2.1. version, which means that they can also sideload a wide range of Android apps, just as we all want.
But that’s all that BlackBerry has presented about its Q20 at this point; more details are about to revealed in the near future, so stay tuned!
