New Galaxy S3 Neo Prepared for India
Here we have Samsung’s new Galaxy S3 Neo which seems to be the Indian version of the Galaxy S III Neo+ that was released on the Chinese market back in January. And they are both related to the company’s 2012 flagship smartphone known as Galaxy S III, just as you can see by yourself that the design of the Galaxy S3 Neo is actually identical to Galaxy’s S III one. Anyway, don’t you imagine that we are talking about the same specs and features too. This time we have a better hardware, dual-SIM functionality and more:
Galaxy S3 Neo is Better than its Galaxy S III Predecessor
As we have already told you, Galaxy S3 Neo is a dual-SIM handset with support for GSM+GSM, just as we’d all expect from a device which is prepared for India. In terms of specs, here we have a modest, yet decent 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels, while the processor is listed as a 1.2 GHz quad-core variant, but the manufacturer is not mentioned at this point. And as you probably know, the Galaxy S III Neo+ version gets the power from a 1.4GHz processor.
The Galaxy S3 Neo also has 1.5GB of RAM and supports expandable storage up to 64GB if you think that you need more than those 16 GB internal memory. As for its cameras, it is known that the handset is equipped with both 8 MP camera with LED flash and 1.9 MP camera at the front for video-calling as well.
Only Android 4.3 Jelly Bean
Samsung has officially declared that its upcoming Galaxy S3 Neo is “the most premium dual SIM smartphone” available in India, but despite for that, you shouldn’t expect receiving the most recent KitKat OS version. Sadly, the device features only Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box with no mention of an update in the near future. But it is too early to be sure that this won’t happen! Let’s just wait patiently for this Galaxy S3 Neo to be released in India and then we’ll return with fresh details.
