Samsung Galaxy Golden gets Rs. 20,000 Price Cut
Samsung launched its Galaxy Golden towards the end of 2013, but everyone had a problem with its price. The phone is now available for only Rs. 29,999 ($500) instead of Rs. 49,999 ($830) from Flipkart, so its original price was actually much higher than the pricing of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 at that time. What was special about the Samsung Galaxy Golden was that it came with two touch displays instead of one and that it was a flip model smartphone, but all these are not a motivation for its price, so this Rs. 20,000 price cut was definitely a necessary one.
Samsung Galaxy Golden has a Unique Design
As we have already told you, Samsung Galaxy Golden comes with two 3.7inch WVGA displays, one on the front of the phone and another one appearing when you flip the front panel. Moreover, flipping the front panel also brings you some physical buttons in addition to a T9 keyboard, but this doesn’t have to means that this unique design makes it an ideal choice.
That’s not Galaxy’s Golden case at all!
The Design night not be Enough
Before rushing into taking the decision of buying this Galaxy Golden device, you should also know that it only houses a 1.7GHz Qualcomm MSM8930 dual-core processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM, also having both 8-megapixel main and 1.9-megapixel front-facing cameras.
If you want more than those 16GB of internal storage, then feel free to use the included a microSD card slot, but there are other problems that cannot be solved that easily as well. Samsung Galaxy Golden only has a 1,820 mAh battery, so you shouldn’t expect to get an amazing battery life at all, not to mention that it features an old Android version (the 4.2 Jelly Bean one) and not KitKat as so many of us might want.
And it measures no less than 118 x 59.5 x 15.8, having a weight of 179 grams, so this Galaxy Golden is not the smallest one either, so be careful that this galaxy Golden is what you really want.
