As we have previously told you, there is a special Motorola event scheduled for September 4 and we already know that Motorola Moto G2 will be the one revealed then. However, Motorola’s Moto G2 Retail Box has has been already spotted online, so this is the confirmation that we all need for knowing that retailers are receiving the first batches of the new smartphone.

In fact, the photo allegedly comes from Flipkart, one of India’s largest online stores, so we think that this is another clue. Motorola Moto G2 will most probably be released really soon after its official unveiling and India will definitely be among the first if not even actually the first country to receive it!

Motorola Moto G2 is Worthy of our Attention

Are you a potential buyer as well? Then , you should know that Motorola Moto G2 is expected to come with a 5-inch, 720 by 1280-pixel display, while the power comes from a Snapdragon 400 SoC coupled with 1GB of RAM, as well as 8 or 16 GB of on-board storage and the option to expand this with a microSD card.

When it comes to the OS, it has also been rumored to run on Android 4.4.4 KitKat version out of the box; and don’t forget that we have also heard that removable backs of various colors will be made available, although the battery is not an user-replaceable model.

Will Moto G2 be as affordable as its predecessor? We certainly hope so as long as last year’s Moto G retailed for as low as $179 back at its launch, not to mention that Zauba revealed Indian pricing for the upcoming model and trust us when we are saying that things look promising. So yes, Motorola’s September 4 event is definitely something worthy of our attention, don’t you think?

Don’t worry; we’ll keep you updated!
