We have great news for those of you thinking of the possibility to buy a new LG-made Nexus 5. From what we have heard, it seems that Google and LG are planning to launch a 64GB version of the Nexus 5 at the same time as the Nexus X launches. We have no official confirmation for that, but we have reasons to believe that even at 64GB, this new Nexus 5 model would be priced even lower than the Nexus X version.

Taking in consideration the fact that we are talking about an usual $350-400 price point of the flagship smartphones by Google, a cheaper Nexus 5 would be exactly what many of you are looking for. As for the rest of its specs, there is no reason to be worried about as they will most likely be the ones that we are already used too.

LG’s Nexus 5 Major Specs

As a reminder, LG Nexus 5 has a 4.95” (445ppi) Full HD IPS display that gives you the opportunity to see details in vivid colors, while the power is provided by a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor. Nexus 5 also has a 8 MP OIS camera that comes equipped with various features like HDR+, combining multiple exposures for the perfect perfect shot or Photo Sphere, which creates immersive 360° views so you can capture and share the special moments of your life.

And there are plenty of other advantages that you should know about: don’t hesitate to tap your phone to pay in-store with Google Wallet or other apps using NFC technology, use Google Maps for effortless navigation, say “OK, Google” in order to start a voice search, send texts, get directions and not only.

When it comes to the availability of this new handset, with all the other announcements from Samsung, Motorola, LG, HTC, as well as Apple, we’re not expecting to hear anything from Google until Halloween when its new Nexus devices appear in the Play Store. Can you wait that long?
