How to Hard Reset your LG G Flex from settings menu:

This is the recommended method if the hardware keys don’t respond properly.

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Menu key;
  2. Then, tap System settings followed by ‘General’ from where you have to scroll to ‘PERSONAL’;
  3. Tap ‘Backup & reset’ fooled by ‘Factory data reset’;
  4. Choose ‘Reset phone’ and then tap ‘Erase everything’;
  5. Finally, tap OK to confirm your action.

How to Hard Reset LG G Flex with hardware keys:

If the device menus are very unresponsive, then you can easily perform a hard reset by using the hardware keys only. Here are the steps that have to be followed:

  1. Power off your LG G Flex phone;
  2. At the same time, press and hold the Power and Volume down keys for about ten seconds or more;
  3. When the LG Logo is displayed, release and then immediately re-hold the Power key;
  4. Release the key only when the Factory Hard Reset screen displays;
  5. Press the Power button and use the Volume keys again in order to confirm your action;
  6. Press the Power key to confirm the reset. The reset will start right away.
