Samsung Gear S Postponed in UK
Samsung has created something unique in the shape of the Gear S, which is that particular smartwatch fully-packed with the latest features, like inbuilt Wi-Fi or connectivity.
Unfortunately, the UK market will have to wait a little bit longer until the mid of November, as Samsung has not stated the real reason of the postponing. Rumors state that the South Korean smartphone is under heavy demands, so it would be difficult to cope with the UK segment as well.
The unpleasant situation might affect some UK buyers who have already pre-ordered the Samsung Gear S more than a month ago, but given the circumstances, they would appreciate the effort of waiting a little bit longer.
The Samsung Gear S comes with a 2-inch curved Super AMOLED display, inbuilt SIM card slot, Wi-Fi connectivity, while the hardware concerns a 1 GHz processor, 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB internal storage and a 300 mAh battery, that can keep the Gear S alert for about two days.
Another important feature is that the Samsung Gear S is currently running on Tizen, following the Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo smartwatches.
Concerning the US market, the Samsung Gear S will be sold under Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint and AT&T, with the smaller carriers also to receive the smartwatch at a certain point.
Additionally, T-Mobile will be the first US carrier to release more details concerning prices and specific release date, while the AT&T promises to offer the first previews on the watch soon enough.
