Google Nexus 5 coming from LG? Specs Rumored already
Although Motorola was the first to announce that it’s going to release the next Google Nexus (5) smartphone, it seems like LG doesn’t want to remain behind. Rumors have it that the company will also release its own Nexus 5, but information about the specs is unclear. The first image of the upcoming device was leaked on Monday, but LG hasn’t confirmed the Nexus 5 yet. However, it is said that the handset will come with the same glass back as the Nexus 4, which looks great but was a bit too fragile before, so let’s hope people from LG learned their lesson and worked on that.
The rest of the phone will be a matte black, and the design will likely be a lot like the Nexus 7 tablet‘s, which you already know. The specs will be similar to those of the LG G2, the Google Nexus 5 coming with a 5.2-inch 1080p HD display, a 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB of RAM, according to our source. Other specs and features are unknown so far, but no worries, the smartphone was just officially unveiled and the LG G2 and Moto X were just released, so there’s plenty of time for the new device to unveil.
The price is expected to vary between $299 and $349, as the Nexus 4, but we can’t tell for sure until it is official. Other interesting stuff we can tell you about the LG Google Nexus 5 are the fact that it might come with a removable back, which the previous model didn’t have, and the camera will be in the top corner, just like in the case of the new Nexus 7. Leaks suggest it will feature Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie, but let’s not be hasty. We’ll let you know what else we find out, just be patient and good things will come to you.
