HTC One is not what customers expect

It seems like HTC is not doing so great these days. According to reports, the HTC One did not make the expected sales, bringing the company down with 16% lower that July’s cashing. Also, the company hasn’t done this bad in the past six months. Is there something to worry about? Probably not, but HTC has to come up with a solution fast, before the company collapses. We know these are hard times for everybody, but the phone industry is still going well, as people nowadays choose to spend their money on gadgets, rather than on clothes.

According to our source, the Taiwanese company only made $443.3 million in August, which is 45% lower than it was this time in 2012. Considering that many are saying that the HTC One is the best design and constructed Android phone of all time, the fact that it isn’t selling well is a surprise for everyone. The reason might be the fact that so many Android smartphones appeared in the past time, that customers simply can’t decide what to buy. And many of them choose companies that they are used to like Nokia or Samsung, without reading about the specs before making a choice.

Speaking of specs, let us remind you what you would be dealing with if purchasing a HTC One. The device comes with a 4.7 inch SuperLCD 3 panel at 1920×1080 resolution, two front-facing BoomSound speakers and it’s running the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 CPU – a quad-core chip at 1.7GHz – with 2GB of RAM and 32 or 64GB of storage. It also holds a 2300mAh battery and it supports 3G HSPA and 4G LTE, WiFi and GPS. And a 4MP UltraPixel camera. So, again, we can’t explain the reason why sales are going so bad, but we’re hoping the company will sort out their problems.
