Galaxy NX Released in US; Specs and Price Available
The new Galaxy NX camera has just been launched in US and we can already tell that it’s going to be a success. We are talking about a $1,599 price point ( but that’s for the body only ), so if you want to buy the camera itself along with an 18-55mm lens, you actually need to pay $1,699. For some of you it might seem a pretty expensive camera, but we can assure that it has all the rights to be priced like that. We are saying such a thing by taking in consideration its 20.3 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, its fast Advanced Hybrid Autofocus system, as well as the fact that it is powered by none other than Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
As we have told you, Galaxy NX comes with a 20.3 megapixels APS-C CMOS sensor which is able to offer us high-quality images and vivid colors. Besides the fact that we are talking about the largest sensor that can be found in a mirrorless system lens camera, you should also know that it can shoot at 8.6 frames per second, with a shutter speed of 1/6000.
Its AF system manages to deliver amazing images with nearly zero shutter lag; and don’t forget that it also comes with Wi-Fi connectivity, so feel free to use Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, as well as other social media as often as you might you. If you want to post your latest photos, there is no problem either as long as you can download Android apps directly here in order to edit them.
And things sound even better when it comes to its Story Album function which allows you to create, display or even print photo albums of your vacations, special moments with your loved ones and so on. This function organizes all these photos into timelines and resizes them in order to create the digital photo books that you want.
As for its power, here we can find a quad-core 1.6GHz processor, as our source stated, being paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. And the microSD card slot waits to be used if you still want more than that.
