New Transformer Pad Infinity Specs and Features Announced
Asus announced the Transformer Pad Infinity at Computex 2013 in Taipei, among other new Android products. The new Jelly Bean tablet comes with 32 GB of internal storage, a Micro SD card slot and 2 GB of RAM. We didn’t find out yet aspects about the price or release date, but we do know the Transformer Pad Infinity’s specs: a 10.1-inch LED backlit IPS display that has a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels, a 1.9 GHz quad-core Nvidia Tegra 4 processor (the world’s fastest mobile processor), a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 1.2-megapixel front facing camera. The device also comes with a dock / keyboard that contains an extra battery that provides up to 14 hours of battery life while pad and docking.
The Android operating system comes with Jelly Bean 4.2 version, the latest of the Android platform for phones, tablets, and more. The new device will be available in two colours: Amethyst Gray and Champagne Gold. With its SonicMaster-enhanced audio, it will provide you a richer audio experience than the previous tablets, although the device is identical to the former Transformer Pad Infinity which was launched last year.
Furthermore, the dock features a full QWERTY keyboard and additional ports. Sources say that the new Transformer Pad Infinity will be released this fall and that its price tag should be around 399-499$. We’ll let you know what the real price is when we find out.
ASUS also introduced the Fonepad Note 6, the MeMO Pad HD 7, the VivoPC and the Transformer Book Trio at Computex 2013.
