Disable Google Home Feed on your Nokia Device
The Google Feed feature on the Android devices is known by all users as it tailors search content and presents it in a concise card-style format on the user’s smartphone. However, it does require constant access to several services such as location and other websites to fetch the latest data. Besides that, you can get the current temperature, nearby places worth visiting and plenty of other details, while also getting a normal search engine just in case the user wants to look for something specific.
However, all these drain considerable battery juice and data space over a period of time. That’s why Google Feed is a real bless for some users, and really annoying for others. Some people live by their Google Feed cards every day, while others find them as being nothing more than intrusive; some find the feature innovative, while others can’t see the point of having it on their handset in the first place.
I am not here to judge or take any sides on that, but I actually believe that you should be able to set the settings on or off as desired on your Nokia device. Don’t you agree with me on that? If it happens to be one of those thinking that the Google home feed is not so useful, then here are the steps that you need to follow to get rid of it right away.
How to Disable Google Home Feed on your Nokia Device:
- At first, you have to long press on your Home-screen;
- Up next, you must tap on Home-screen settings;
- Now, you can go to “Show Google App”;
- At this point, you can disable it by toggling off. As you can imagine, this is the final step that will disable Google Home Feed;
Note: Since you are here, for making your Home Screen scrolling never-ending, you can also enable the option “Screen cycle scroll”.
