CES 2014: Polaroid to Add New Lineup Q Series Tablets
When I am thinking of Polaroid, I am actually referring to THE brand that has offered the top services in the instant film business for more than 75 years now. And to watch the company`s wide variety products growing and developing on the go, I might say: “Go for it”. Unfortunately, I am a little bit skeptical about the new lineup Android Q Series Tablets that Polaroid is preparing for the CES 2014. It has been done before when the first Polaroid tablets delivered nothing but mediocre specs and cheap prices. Will the Q Series promise more than that?
Well, to keep the info fresh, Polaroid announced that its lineup Q Series Tablets would be officially unveiled at the CES 2014, coming with Q7, Q8 and Q10. Each one will have a display of 7-inch, 8-inch and 10-inch, as the names show. The tablets would also come with Wi-Fi, Android 4.4 KitKat, but seemingly with an unknown quad-core processor.
Our source also mentions that the Q Series tablets will receive Google certification, meaning that the tablets will have access to the Google Play Store.
Also interesting to find out, and which is definitely a good thing after all, the tablets are mostly designed for videos, sharing and media. The extended battery and the HDMI port for connectivity to a larger TV display, demonstrate the facts.
Perhaps the Polaroid should limit its access to this kind of tablets, designed only for media and sharing. More will be revealed at the CES 2014. As for the price tags, the tablets could be bought starting from $129 and up to $179. I will keep you posted folks. Enjoy your weekend!
