Triple Sim Android Smartphone Released in Brazil

What can you do draw the attention towards your product in a market dominated by so many other devices equipped with high-end specs? A triple sim handset might have a chance for that and this is exactly what we are going to talk to you about. Here we have a new triple sim Android smartphone that has been just released in Brazil, but you shouldn’t be too excited about it before finding out the entire story. Samsung Galaxy Star Trios is nothing else than a simple entry-level Android smartphone and the only interesting aspect that has managed to capture our attention is its triple-SIM support.

General Specs and Features

This Samsung Galaxy Star Trios has a modest set of specs including a 1GHz single-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 processor paired with 512MB of RAM, as well as only 4GB of storage inside, number which can be though expanded up to 32GB by using a microSD memory card. Furthermore, this device sports a small 3.14-inch capacitive touchscreen display that unfortunately has just a 240 x 320 pixels resolution, while its 2-megapixel photo snapper with video recording is far from what we could consider at least as being decent. As for its 1300 mAh battery, it hasn’t been yet rated by the company, but this is about to change in the upcoming days.

Aside from the fact that it allows users to fit in three SIM cards, it is obviously that Samsung Galaxy Star Trios doesn’t stand a chance to be noticed in the crowd. At least it ships with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box, as our source has also stated, but it is very unlikely to be talking about an update.

Availability and pricing

As we have told you even from the begging, this Galaxy Star Trios is currently available for purchase in Brazil via several authorized resellers, but there is no word regarding an international release up to now. We’ll be back with more details on this topic if something new comes up, but until then let’s just focus our attention toward the customers from Brazil who can purchase the new triple sim Android smartphone for only $165.
