Galaxy S5 Metallic under Galaxy F Moniker Rumored in May
The Mobile World Congress (MWC 2014) in Barcelona was the host of the officially unveiled Samsung Galaxy S5 these day. Previously rumored with a premium high-end S5 in all-metallic along with the standard version, to our surprise, the Galaxy S5 released in Barcelona only came in plastic, with still good reviews on the smartphone`s specs and great features. Aside from the metallic back, the premium was also rumored to come with QHD screen and more hardware performance.
As our source states, recent rumors from the Korean`s manufacturer chiefs say that the long-expected Galaxy S5 premium version would likely to be released sooner than expected, under the name of Galaxy F moniker, the bearer of the future high-end lineup devices from Samsung.
According to the aforementioned F project, all Galaxy S5`s metallic versions will also feature high-end materials along with a more improved hardware than the standard Galaxy S5. Perhaps the all-metallic will come unveiled along with the rumored 64-bit Exynos Infinity SoC, previously announced at the Mobile World Congress.
As for the other features that the premium high-end metallic S5 enhance, we might be expecting an optical image stabilization, a feature that the standard S5 doesn’t have. Also, if the rumors confirm and the standard S5 recently launched will come with a lower price than the one that the S4 had at launch, than that would be a clear indication that the premium high-end S5 will be priced at its true value. But for now, there are all rumors to be taken into consideration after all.
The Galaxy S5 was launched the other days at the MWC, coming with 5.1-inch display and being powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor good for 2GB of RAM. One of the flagship`s main attraction was its 16 megapixel rear camera with autofocus and 4k shooting capabilities, with features like Virtual Tour Shoot, HDR or Select Focus Mode.
We will wait and see what new will the premium Galaxy S5 all metallic will officially bring fresh! Keep you posted! Cheers and don’t forget to write!
