Google Nexus 7 specs via Asus Live Chat Support
As you might probably know, Google is set to release the Nexus 7 tablet this month. Well it looks like an employee couldn’t wait anymore to share the great news about what the device will feature, so he decided to speak about unconfirmed specs of the Nexus 7. Or maybe he didn’t and the images we have are fake. The fact is that some of the specs that the presumed Asus support specialist talks about were also revealed in a recent FCC filing, so there’s no telling whether we can rely on the rumors or wait for an official announcement.
Among the specs from FCC, we must mention better LTE connectivity, a 5MP rear-facing camera and a 1.2MP front one. The Google Nexus 7 will apparently feature a Qualcomm APQ-8064 processor, namely a quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro, with 2GB RAM. According to our source, additional specs from the Asus char support include a 7-inch 1080p display and 32GB of storage. It’s rumored to run the latest 4.3 Android Jelly Bean OS and support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC. The Nexus 7 will possibly hold a 4,000mAh battery. The spokesperson also sustains that a release will take place by the end of July 2013.
The price tag for this tablet is said to be around 150-200$, according to Reuters, or even lower, depending on the site you purchase it from. The rumors haven’t been commented by Google, Nvidia, and Qualcomm. Also, rumors have it that Google would want to ship over 8 mil. copies of the device by the end of this year only. Do you think the company’s aggressive marketing will get them on top? What do you think about the price / quality report? Would you like to own a Nexus 7 tablet?
