Samsung Galaxy Beam 2 Leaked
Samsung Galaxy Beam was recently leaked in images, sporting the same mid-specs like its predecessor Galaxy Beam. Perhaps it is the Samsung`s choice of launching sequels after sequels, despite the fact that the device itself wasn’t a great device coming with great specs. And perhaps it is also the manufacturer`s strategy of launching a device serving a particular mid-spec market. And yes, you guessed it: it might be also the case of the Beam 2, the follow-up device that was recently certified by TENAA, as Samsung SM-G3858.
However, the device is leaked with some pictures and a list of specifications that resembles its older Galaxy Beam. Other than that, there are no details about the projector being displayed at the back of the handset.
Just like the Galaxy Beam, the second-generation Beam will sport the same 4.66-inch display with mid 800 x 480 resolution. Under the body, the Galaxy Beam 2 sports a regular 1.2 GHz quad-core processor hooked to a mere 1GB of RAM.
The Galaxy Beam 2 runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, with the possibility of an update to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. At the rear, the device sports a base 5-megapixel camera and a microSD slot card displayed on the right of the device. The Beam 2 measures 134.5 x 70 x 11.7 mm weighs only 165g.
There are little to know about the projector at the back, but reports say that it will have a better resolution than the Galaxy Beam which had a 640 x 360 resolution.
What do you think about the Beam 2? Would you buy it? Cheers and don’t forget to write!
