Rumor: Xperia Z1S will be released worldwide as Z1 Mini
Sony is struggling to fight with Samsung and HTC for keeping up with the high end devices that are being released by the mentioned companies (mostly Samsung as HTC is already experiencing some financial issues with its HTC One) and new devices are being already rumored. The latest leaked info is offering some clues about the upcoming Xperia Z1 Mini, which apparently will be dubbed as Xperia Z1S. This will be the worldwide version of the Japan Xperia Z1S which has been released through NTT Docomo.
The Xperia Z has been Sony’s comeback on the high end gadget industry, the device being capable to compete with Samsung’s Galaxy S4 or with Apple’s iPhone 5S. Since then the company had developed similar versions of the handsets in order to offer more alternatives to those who have loved the Xperia Z.
A similar model is the new Xperia Z1S which is rumored to be the Z1 Mini handset. This smartphone will be released worldwide and not only in Japan as its little brother, the Z1F. Now, if we are to talk about performances we must mention something about the specs and features list. Well, Sony Xperia Z1S will be coming with a 4.3 inch display with 720p capabilities, along with a Snapdragon 800 CPU, 2GB of RAM and a 20.7-megapixel Exmor RS rear camera. Of course Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS will be pre-installed on this high end smartphone.
Considering the mentioned specs and features, the Xperia Z1S might truly be the Z1 Mini we are all expecting from a while now though further info haven’t been made available yet. So, we are still expecting for the official press release and maybe other info about the Xperia Z1 Mini price and market availability.
