HTC Confirms Desire 700, 601, 501, and 300
HTC has prepared us a surprise, or should we better say four surprises? We are talking about the latest Desire 700, 601, 501, and 300 versions which are ready for all those who are looking for something new and affordable, yet decent in the same time. If some of them sound familiar, you are not at all wrong as long as HTC Desire 601 and Desire 300 were released at IFA in September, unlike the other two. So, let’s see what their main features are. Desire 700 comes with a 5-inch display having a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels, while its power is offered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor paired with 8GB internal storage. And if you want a device for taking photos and videos, then what do you think about a 8MP rear camera which comes along with a 2.1MP front camera?
As you can expect, the 601 has lower specs: a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, a 4,5-inch display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels, as well as a 5MP rear camera and a VGA front camera. And while HTC Desire 700 has dual SIM compatibility, for HTC Desire 601 is just optional.
For HTC Desire 501 and HTC Desire 300 things don’t look so great as in the other two cases: they both have a 4.3-inch display with a resolution of no more than 480 x 800 pixels and a dual-core processor, while HTC Desire 501 has an 8MP rear camera (and a secondary 2.1MP front camera) and its more affordable brother – just a 5MP rear camera (along with a VGA front camera as well).
So, in terms of pricing, it is obvious that Desire 700 is the most expensive one having a price of $470, while Desire 601 is priced at $370, Desire 501 at just $330 and Desire 300 at no more than $270, according to our source.
