Sony Xperia Z1 Bootloader Problem Fixed
Finally, developers managed to fix the problem that bothered various users. An issue that appeared within the Xperia Z1 devices since launch has finally been fixed. Apparently, users complained about camera issues when unlocking the bootloader, due to the loss of a certain controller used to focus on object. The Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update fixes the problem without causing other complications.
At this point, developers like DooMLorD can resume the existing development work and users will have the possibility to access and unlock the bootloader to flash custom ROMs such as CyanogenMod 11, which happened to be accessible for Sony Xperia Z1.
As this problem reveals, Sony takes good care of its customers, and it offered dull support for Android developers by offering users the possibility to access open source issues and Custom ROMs. The company has even provided instruction on how users should unlock the bootloader for most of their devices. Xperia Z1, Sony’s latest flagship was not an exception. However, users owning the respective device confessed that, back in September, they found a bug, which has caused Sony to declare the handset as being an unsupported device for bootloader unlocking.
However, all instructions offered by Sony regarding the bootloader come with a big warning about the camera functionality problems. During all this time, Sony developers worked pretty hard in order to fix it, and now, we are able to see the solution. The news came from the already mentioned developers, DooMLorD, a well-know figure in the XDA community. He reported that the camera bug is fixed through an Android 4.3 update.
It is worth mentioning the fact that Sony has not offered any details regarding this problem so far. With the software update still in the process of reaching various users, it might take some time until it will reach all Sony Xperia Z1 devices. If you encountered the same problem with your Xperia Z1 handset, try the solution offered by developers and let us know if the camera bug was fixed.
