NVIDIA Tegra 4i’s first smartphone: Wiko WAX to hit Europe
Wiko WAX might look just like any other Android device, but it is NVIDIA Tegra 4i’s first smartphone and this is more than enough when it comes to capturing everyone’s interest. Now we can finally tell you that it will hit Europe starting this April and we are not talking about one country, but the list is much longer than that and it includes Belgium, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal and even UK. Are you interested on this Wiko WAX model? If the answer is yes, here we have more details:
Tegra 4i processor
As you are imagining, Wiko’s WAX key-element is the Tegra 4i processor; to be more precise, we are talking about 60 GPU cores, as well as a quad-core CPU with a fifth battery saver core. And the company has confirmed that it can be paired with the NVIDIA i500 LTE modem, the same modem setup found in the Tegra Note 7 tablet.
In these conditions, there is no surprise that Wiko WAX will “deliver fast web browsing, best-in-class gaming performance, smooth video playback and great battery life”, but what about its other specs and features?
Wiko WAX: Modest display, 8MP main camera
We can also tell you that Wiko’s WAX comes with a 4.7-inch 720 display, as well as with LTE and HSPA+ support. And let’s not leave aside the 8MP main camera placed on the back of the smartphone which is said to offer high-quality photos and videos.
So, we have told you that Wiko WAX will arrive next month, but we have no mention regarding its pricing or the possibility of seeing it outside of Europe. We’ll be finding out more information on this smartphone in the near future and then we’ll return.
