Galaxy S5 LTE-A won’t be Globally Launched
As we have already told you, Samsung has just officially unveiled a new version of its Galaxy S5 smartphone and we were all impressed by what it has to offer. This Samsung’s Galaxy S5 LTE-A handset that we are talking about will have a price of no more than $919 (940,500 South Korean Won, to be more specific) in Korea and that includes all the popular carriers that we were expecting at in the first place: SKT, KT, as well as LGU+. But sadly, the handset won’t be globally launched.
No specific plan to provide the product to the global market
This is not just a rumor, but actually the confirmation that we were afraid of coming directly from the Korean manufacturer. Samsung intends to launch its new Galaxy S5 Broadband LTE-A in Korea at the end of June 2014, as a Samsung spokesperson has just revealed, also making it clear that “at this moment, there is no specific plan to provide the product to the global market.”
Galaxy F could be another option to wait for
So, that’s the situation for now and there’s nothing that we can actually do about it. We can only remind you of those rumors about a similar handset, dubbed Galaxy F, which will be globally released later in the year as well. So, although there’s disappointing news for those hoping to get their hands on this new version, we still have another option that you might like.
From what we have heard, Galaxy F is Samsung’s first attempt to make a smartphone with a metal casing and this will make the difference for all those who are currently disappointed by the company’s normal plastic builds. And don’t forget that several previous leaks have already shown this device in metallic grey case that makes us all think of HTC’s popular HTC One (M8) flagship, not to mention that the rumored specs are more than generous.
Galaxy F is said to come with a 5.3-inch quad-HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor paired with 3GB of RAM, not to mention the 16-megapixel camera and the Android 4.4.3 KitKat OS version.

And if you currently live in Korea, this is your chance to enjoy the same specs, sooner than everyone else.
The new Galaxy S5 LTE-A is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 805 processor, also being paired with a number of no less than 3GB of RAM and giving us the chance to use the new 5.1-inch QHD (2560×1440) SuperAMOLED display. Even more, don’t forget about those innovative features that we have discovered on the Galaxy S5 handset such as a 16 megapixel camera with HDR, Auto Focus and Selective Focus, as well as the S-Health and Heart Rate Monitor or even its IP67 rating. This new device will let you use them just as you can do it on the original version.
