Four Oppo Smartphones are Released in Australia

Oppo has just revealed that it plans to release four of its smartphones in the Australian market. The Chinese manufacturer is talking about the following models: the Find 7 one, which is known as being among the first phones to come with a quad HD display, as well as the Find 7a, N1 mini and Neo 5 handsets. Does Oppo stand any chance on such a market over-saturated with Apple, Samsung, HTC and Sony devices?

There’s no doubt that Oppo tries that, not to mention the prices that it has prepared for its handsets: to be more precise, the Find 7 model will be priced at A$719, the Find 7a at A$629, the N1 mini at A$539, while the Neo 5 device at no more than A$219.

Oppo Find 7

Find 7 is Oppo’s flagship and will take on Samsung’s Galaxy S5, HTC’s One (M8), as well as Sony’s Xperia Z2. The 5.5in device has a 2560×1440-pixel resolution topped with Gorilla Glass 3 and gets its power from 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 CPU paired with 3GB of RAM and an Adreno 330 GPU that keep things running so smoothly.

In terms of memory, here we have 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB via the microSD card slot), while Opps’s Find 7 13-megapixel camera is ideal if you want to capture crisp photos with ease. Equipped with the latest generation stacked IMX214 CMOS sensor by Sony and a wide f/2.0 aperture that allows more light in, we can assure you that it helps you take amazing photos even in low light conditions. And we are even talking about videos at 4K resolution with HDR and slow motion capabilities, so don’t hesitate to take advantage of that!

Don’t forget that there is also a 3000mAh battery which provides power to the device and utilizes built in technology that provides extremely fast charging times. In case of not knowing about this technology up to now, we can tell you that it is called ‘Rapid Charge’ and promises to boost the device from flat to 75 per cent in 30 minutes. And if you are curious about its software, Oppo Find 7 run on Android 4.3 on top of what Oppo calls ColorOS, one of the most extensively customized interfaces that we have ever seen.

What about this device’s little brother? Could the Oppo Find 7a model be what you are really looking for?

Oppo Find 7a

The Find 7a also has an array of impressive specifications; we are talking about a 2.3GHz quad-core CPU paired with 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage (also expandable up to 128GB), as well as a 2800mAh battery that still has the Rapid Charge technology that we have told you about.

Moreover, its 5.5 inches display has a resolution of no less than 1080 x 1920 pixels and don’t forget that by using Gorilla Glass 3, the handset’s screen is not only tough, but it also sees a 40% improvement in strength compared to those that don’t have Touch-on-Lens technology.

Oppo N1 Mini

Here we have an interesting flagship with high-end specifications and a great price: none other than Oppo’s N1 mini. The handset has a 5-inch HD (720×1280-pixel) screen and we can tell you one thing about it: it is true that it is crisp and clear while browsing the web or watching videos, but the difference between the quality of an HD screen and a full-HD screen is obvious.

Power-wise, Oppo N1 mini packs a quad-core, 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon TM400 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (which cannot be expanded), also having a 2140mAh battery.

And there’s one more thing that we love about it: instead of offering us two cameras of different qualities, this phone has one 13-megapixel camera (aperture f/2.0) which sits on a rotating component that swivels from rear, to top and front.

Oppo Neo 5

Neo 5 houses a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8926 processor paired with 1,024 MB of RAM and 4GB built-in storage (expandable up to 32GB), also packing a 1900mAh battery. We are sure that its 4.5 inch TFT screen won’t impress you either, just as it will happen with both its 2 megapixel front camera and 5 megapixel primary camera, but that’s the point!

Oppo wanted to offer us a decent and affordable phone and this is exactly what we are receiving from Oppo Neo 5! If you want something better, feel free to choose one from the other three options that we have presented you!
