This year, at CES 2014, LG presented LG G Flex innovative curved smartphone. Now, it looks like the second-generation model, the LG G Flex 2 will be announced at the incoming CES 2015.

LG G Flex 2 will likely be announced at LG’s press conferences during CES in Las Vegas; in the same way as it predecessor was shown last year.

Since LG G Flex was not cheap at all, starting at $770, it is probably that he LG G Flex could be ranked at around same amount of money if not a little bit more than the first LG G Flex if we take a look at some of its specs shown below.

Regarding the specs, there is not too much revealed about the LG G Flex 2 specs. The sparse rumors indicate that the screen resolution will definitely increase, and the HG display of the LG G Flex will be long time gone. It is expected to be smaller than the original 6-inch model, which will make it easier to handle.

LG G Flex was the second curved device to be launched on the mobile market next to the Samsung Galaxy Round. It was reported that the new generation will be bent even further, and will be more flexible thanks to a new hard rubber chassis.

Inside, you will find the same bendy battery, but with other hardware components. Regarding the curved shape it’s expected to be more ergonomic, able to enhance video calling, phone calling and other operating tasks. Like the first model, you can apply pressure on it; flatten it out, without damaging it.

The G Flex 2 will also come with self-healing resin back cover, which means that if you scratch it, the marks will disappear in a minutes. In the same time, the next-gen curved flagship will also get the back-facing buttons as the LG G2, LG G3 and the first model LG G Flex. Most likely, LG G Flex 2 will run Android 5.0 Lollipop, but there is a tiny chance that it will be equipped with Android KitKat and and upgrade to Lollipop to be made available shortly after.
