Do you remember the Galaxy S4 Zoom? Yes, that’s the same device that has been announced by Samsung back in June. Well, the S4 Zoom is finally arriving in US as AT&T has confirmed the recent rumors which stated that the SGS4 Zoom release date is set for this month. Also, soon after the AT&T availability the other major retails from US will too embrace this Android based cameraphone.
In a few words, the Galaxy S4 Zoom is exactly what the name suggests. Basically we are dealing with a redesigned version of the Galaxy S4. So, this is a cameraphone, as on the back we have something quite strange if we consider that we are still talking about a smartphone. I am talking about the 10x optical zoom camera which if you ask me if quite inappropriate for a handset. The Galaxy S4 Zoom design is strange I would rather buy a high end phone along with a great camera instead of choosing this mixed (and epic fail) gadget.
Anyway, if you do like the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom and you are considering in buying the same from AT&T, then here is what you should know:
AT&T Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom specs and features
- 16 MP camera on the back
- 10x optical zoom
- 1080p video recording
- 1.9 MP camera on the front
- 4.3 inch Super AMOLED display
- 960 x 540 resolution
- Only a dual core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz
- 1.5 GB of RAM
- LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC
AT&T Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom Price and Release Date
Well, AT&T will release the S4 Zoom this week on 8th November. So, you better hurry up if you want to grab this cameraphone, though I sincerely doubt that there will be many users interested on the same. Anyhow, keep in mind that after the AT&T launch other US carrier will provide the S4 Zoom too.
On the other hand the price tag offered by AT&T is $199.99 on a new two-year agreement which is a little bit too much for this phone. So, what do you say, are you willing to get this mixed handset from Samsung or you rather choose a different smartphone instead? Do share your opinions with us by using the comments field from below.
