So here we go again with rumors after rumors concerning new releases and rolling-outs of different smartphones, devices or other gadgets. Now that the Consumer Electronics Show 2014 is over, it is time to go on with our new series of rumors. I am joking of course. But, this time I am referring to the famous US carrier Verizon, which, after some leaked news concerning the release of the Nexus 7 2013, might now be heading towards the launching of the latest Android tablet from LG, going by the name G Pad 8.3.

The leaked info was launched by the @evleaks, stating that the LG G Pad was “headed to Verizon”, with no other news to confirm a future launch of the tablet. But at a certain point, we might expect Verizon to also come up with the price involved for this version of the LG G Pad, since the unlocked model of the G Pad comes with a $349.99.

As our source points out as being important, is that the LG G Pad is now officially the first Google Play Edition tablet, meaning that it is too obvious for the Google to trust the tablet as being a very solid product and with lots of sales in the upcoming future. And a confirmation of what I am saying is that the reviews are well in favors: the LG G Pad is a great tablet that can now withstand the powerful tablets from the smartphone and tablets industry.

The G Pad Google Play Edition was launched a month ago running on Android 4.4 KitKat, with possible updates for the based version, since the latter is currently running on Android Jelly Bean. So, Verizon, would you be kind and update it, since you are the one reportedly to take it out into the air? Well, since it`s Friday, I think I am allowed for some pure British remarks!

Now, about the tablet`s specs, the 8.3-inch IPS display comes with 1200×1920 pixels (273), featuring LTE, NFC, a 5MP rear camera and a 1.3 MP front-facing camera. Most importantly, the LG G Pad runs on a powerful enough 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, with 2GB of RAM, an internal memory of 16GB, with extended possibility and a strong battery of 4,600 mAh. Enjoy your weekend!
