We have great news for Star Trek fans with Android Wear smartwatches; in case of being one of them, you can enjoy an amazing Star Trek Watch-Face on your LG G Watch and Samsung Gear Live. No, this is not a joke, but we are actually talking about a free watch-face based on the fictional LCARS computer interface of the U.S.S. Enterprise from Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Starwatch comes with a Unique Design and Unix Epoch

For that we must be thankful to Daniele Bonaldo who has created and uploaded the “Starwatch” app to Google Play, announcing the custom design on his Google+ page.

The “Starwatch” watch-face is available for everyone that has an Android Wear watch and wants to experience something completely new. We can tell you from the start that it has a unique design styled after the Star Trek computer UI and this is exactly what seems to attract the enthusiastic people to give it a try, but this is not all.

The new watch face also displays the time, the date and even the Unix Epoch, which is the total number of seconds since 0:00:00 Coordinated Universal Time on January 1, 1970.

How to Install Star Trek Watch-Face on your Android Wear Device

Do you want to enjoy this Starwatch as well? Then, head to the Google Play store by using directly this link and simply install it on your Android smartphone, then pair your Android Wear with it. After that, you must choose the watch face from your Android Wear watch and don’t worry if you won’t find an icon on your smartphone launcher.

This is exactly how things are supposed to happen: the app is installed directly on the watch once it is paired with the phone, so enjoy it! Now, you have your own sci-fi watch!
