Sprint Galaxy S4: Android 4.4 KitKat update Has Arrived
The Android 4.4 KitKat update for Sprint Galaxy S4 has finally arrived, just as initially promised. A few days ago an internal document has leaked pointing that the update for this version would begin Thursday and this exactly what happened, soon after the Korean company released the Android 4.4 kernel source for the same device. So, this makes Sprint the first US carrier to offer the KitKat update for its Samsung Galaxy S4, having the L720VPUFNAE build and including a set of interesting enhancements. Do you want to find out more about them? Then, don’t decline our invitation of continuing to read about this new update:
New Enhancements
As you are probably expecting, your Sprint version of Samsung Galaxy S4 is ready for the latest Android 4.4 KitKat features such as: an updated dialer and caller ID, as well as an updated lock screen design, screen recording, text message and Hangouts integration, always on hands-free navigation, a new emoji keyboard, updated NFC powered features, TV and Bluetooth compatibility, cloud printing and storage and much more waiting to be discovered.
And from what we know at this point, it even seems that the update will add Zact Mobile compatibility to your Sprint Galaxy S4 phone, removing though the Prevention Information alert message that not so many of you used it in the first place.
Rolling in Stages
This Android 4.4 update that we are talking about is being pushed OTA, which means that it rolls in stages, so it might take some time before reaching to all devices out there.
