AT&T OTA Update for Galaxy Note 3, KitKat Still on the Waiting List
With today`s Galaxy S4 starting to receive the KitKat update from AT&T, its flagship Galaxy Note 3 will have to wait for a while to get it, as the device only came with an OTA update, meaning that it will receive some maintenance updates. The OTA update is supposed to fix some bugs for the baseband still running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, but moving to N900AUCUBNB4. The OTA update also brings some new features like Google`s Newsstand, YouTube as well as Google Search.
When the update will be rolled with the AT&T carrier for Galaxy Note 3, the KitKat update will be available only for those users who actually have the latest firmware, so make sure your model bears the same.
On the other hand, the Korean smartphone manufacturer Samsung has already begun rolling out the KitKat update for the Galaxy Note 3 globally, the Russians receiving the firmware first.
As for the bug fixes, we might referring to three Android bugs to be fixed, namely 6923539, 9702645 and 12118307. All bugs have been already squashed with this OTA update.
Please find below the changelog with the bug fixes for Galaxy Note 3. Hopefully you will be getting the KitKat update for your Note 3 before we do, so let us word about its features and how they work. Cheers!
