Galaxy S5 T-Mobile Pre-Orders Start Today – Unboxing Video
Starting with today, T-Mobile will take pre-orders for the new Samsung flagship and namely the Galaxy S5. All those pre-orders are meant to hold the actual device for several buyers before the official release scheduled on April 11th. Moreover, in order to make things clear and sure, a T-Mobile employee has recorded a little Galaxy S5 unboxing video to make the moment official.
The video, offered by the product guru Des Smith, offers a clear glance at the phone and packaging. As some of you already know, Samsung’s latest flagship offers a 5.1-inch display powered by an octa-core processor, 2 GB of RAM memory, 16 GB or 32 GB internal storage. In the same time, the 116 MB ISOCELL camera records even 4k video. You can check out the full Galaxy S5 specs and features here.
One of the most important points regarding the unboxing video is referring to the seal on the back cover of the device. As displayed in the video, the seal is key to the Galaxy S5’ feature for IP67 dust and water resistance rating, which makes the device efficiently waterproof for short and shallow waters. In the same time, Samsungs advises people to check the device’s back cover, as seen when it first boots into the Home Screen. In this way, you can tell for sure if your device is actually a Samsung product.
A T-Mobile pre-order to the famous Galaxy S5 will offer the device for $0 down, followed by $27.50 monthly payments for the next 24 months. Per total, the device will end up costing you around $660.
As you can see and as T-Mobile has named it, this is a special introductory price meant for those of you who decide to place a pre-order. Pre-orders started day until the end of the month. However, if you do not get to place a pre-order, you can expect a little price bump at the beginning of April.
On the other hand, if you really want to get the Galaxy S5 in your hands, but you do not want to become a T-Mobile customer, you can head over to AT&T or Sprint to pre-order the device for $200 with a 2-year contract, of at U.S. Cellular for $200 after mail-in rebate.
In the same time, as a different alternative, RadioShack, offers customers a special pre-order pricing for Samsung’s Galaxy S5. This means that if you really want to get this device, you have different alternatives to choose from. Place your pre-order now to be the first of your friends to own a Samsung Galaxy S5.
