Samsung`s Chromebook 2 for Pre-order, Shipped Late April
With the official announcement of the next-gen Chromebook last month, Samsung has recently posted that the Chromebook 2 would be available for pre-order via Amazon, with the famous laptop to be shipped at your door at the end of April. The pre-orders are available starting today, so don’t wait and take your line to opt for the 11.6-inch model coming at $320 or the 13-inch model available at $400.
The two models of the Chromebook 2 sport different processors, like a 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 5 CPU for the 13.3-inch model and 2.1GHz for the bigger version; more than that, the first model enhances a 1377 x 768 resolution, while the latter sports a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080.
As for the sizes, the 11.6-model weighs 2.4 pounds while the 13-inch model is a little bit heavier, weighing around 3 pounds.
Apart from these differences, both come with a reasonable 4G RAM, an internal memory of 16GB, and a great battery that can last up to 8 hours of heavy usage. More than that, the two Chromebook 2 models also sport an USB 2.2, 3.0, HDMI out, a webcam set at 720p and a microsSD slot.
